Marchionne’s plan will either turn the brand into what it once was and even more than that. Or drive it right into the ground.
Too bad Alfa’s too poor for a DTM return, because if would surely look better than the German competition.
And this livery looks great.

Agreed on both counts. I just want them to release a car, any car. It’s been too long since they’ve released anything that’s not the 4C (great though it is).
They need something that’s a seller.

Future Alfas need to be quirky, but reliable. But the car should strand you once every 18 months just to put you in your place.

They’re supposed to be coming out with a new sedan, at actually between 2016-2018 they’re supposed to be releasing a bunch of new cars to us.

But they have cars! You see the odd Giulietta and Mito. It’s the fact that it’s only the odd one that’s their difficulty.

Don’t lose hope! There’s plenty of time for Alfa to sink into Mediocrity and start offering mid-sized FWD Camry competitors like [Insert every other automaker here]

I hope so, but that’s long overdue so they need to get it right.
I think they’re releasing a new GTV/Spider this summer which is good. I hope it sells, otherwise they’re in a very precarious position :S

Yeah the Giulietta really kept them ticking over, but it’s not a car that’s going to support them for any length of time. Even now it’s getting a bit long in the tooth :S

This is Alfa’s plan:
This was part of Sergio's 5 year plan that he put out for all FCA brands.

Interesting. I really hope it comes to fruition. The two car companies that I care about the most on the modern car market are Alfa and Jag. Jag’s gone though a renaissance recently, I really hope Alfa can do the same...
